How much money is this company making, and is it growing?
Quick parameters that help you judge whether a stock is rewarding shareholders and growing.
Cash paid out over the last twelve months, against today's price. A high yield is attractive for income — check the payout is covered by earnings before relying on it.
trailing 12m DPS ÷ price × 100The share of profit handed back as dividends. Above 100% means the company paid out more than it earned that year, which cannot continue indefinitely.
DPS ÷ EPS × 100Rupees paid per rupee of annual earnings. The sector median is 10.26×.
price ÷ earnings per shareThe same ratio against average earnings rather than the latest year. For a cyclical company this is the fairer comparison — a trailing P/E on peak profits flatters it.
Does this company share its profits with shareholders, and how reliably?
No payouts on record.
What the price has been doing lately, read off its own history. These describe where a reading sits — never what to do about it.
The price line is close-only and unadjusted. PSX's end-of-day feed carries no intraday high or low, and a bonus issue or split leaves a step in the series that is not a fall.
A blank figure means not known, never zero. Ratios are computed by PSX Lens from the exchange's published statements, not published by the exchange itself.
PSX halts a scrip that moves more than 10% from its last close. Today that band runs from Rs 12.86 to Rs 15.72.
Balance-sheet lines — total assets, equity, liabilities, and the book value and return-on-equity figures built from them — come from the audited filing PDFs and are not yet extracted. They are omitted here rather than shown as zero.
price ÷ normalized EPSCompound annual growth of the share price alone, excluding dividends. It says how the price has rewarded a long-term holder, not what it will do next.
(latest ÷ earliest) ^ (1 ÷ years) − 1How fast the payout itself has grown. Sustained growth depends on earnings growing too — read it beside the payout ratio.
